As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
Prov 27:17
The mentoring ministry goes hand in hand with the other pillars of the ministry. And just as in the communities, the challenges vary from country to country. In some areas, the mentorship program will be geared more toward one area than another.
It is the goal of the ministry to help in mentoring those in need in the community and disciplining those who become believers. As the ministry grows, we will focus more sharply on the specific needs of each community with mentorship:
Women: In many countries, women are empowered by their culture. This can sometimes lead to women being left to raise children especially boys. The mentorship program, HOPE AND BEYOND will help women to be empowered through Christ so that they have guidance through this process and through their lives.
Boys: The boys of today are the men of tomorrow. A boy without the right kind of example and role model will become a man that is ill-equipped to serve his family and community. The mentorship program will also help these at-risk boys to become the men that they were meant to become.
Girls: The girls of today become the mothers of our societies. Girls must be taught their worth and their value. The mentorship program will also assist these girls to become women that are empowered through Christ
Men: Men many societies are either confused about the role they play in society or not motivated to play their roles. The mentorship program, COALS OF THE FLAME will help these men to become the leaders that they were meant to be.
