Coals of the Flame (COF) is the men’s ministry of Powered by Christ (PBC) sharpening iron with men to reach the world. We are currently starting in the U.S. and Kenya.
Our Mission
Coals of the Flame seeks to reach out to men to cultivate a discipleship culture that restores the Godly Man to his rightful place at home, in his community and his country. Forging men for their eternal purpose.

Reaching Out:
Luke 10:30-37 tells a story of a Samaritan who showed compassion on a man who fell in the hands of robbers after a priest and a Levite passed him by. This is our call as men. We stand strong for the weak, firm for the unstable and prayerful for the hopeless.
Reaching out beyond our comfort points and places so that “each-one-reach-one” can spread throughout the world as Jesus commanded us to do.
Cultivating Relationship:
Ephesians 4:2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love
John 15:12 My command is this: “Love each other as I have loved you”
CoF Men seek not only to build a relationship but further cultivate it into the loving relationship our Savior Jesus Christ intended. Godly relationships hold firm to the Colossians 3:12 call (Compassion, Kindness, Humility, Gentleness, and Patience). “A Loved Man Loves”
Restoring Men:
Restore- to bring back to or put back something to a former or original state (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
Hosea 6:1 Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us into pieces but He will heal us; He has injured us but He will bind up our wounds
Every man goes through a hard time, either from his own doing or others. CoF Men believe that the Lord allows certain trials and tribulations to come a man’s way, so as to turn him to Him “h to H “.
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven
Assignment Order:
Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.
God wants man to fill the earth, subdue it, and have dominion. The world informs us on a different perspective of “less is more”. CoF Men believe that every man should approach God for His wisdom on how to fulfill the Genesis 1:28 call.
Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”
