WHO ARE WE?

Imagine being rejected every minute of your life. Imagine people sitting on a round table scheming of ways to cause pain and define your future as they deem fit. Imagine being uncertain of what you will feed your children with due to the uncertainties of the surrounding. Think of the voices that have spoken and questioned your capacity and your worth due to a wrong choice you made. They even go ahead of determining you as undeserving of help. There is fear, shame, guilt, and confusion around you that nothing seems worth living for.

There are a lot of women who go through rejection, domestic violence, and cultural evictions due to the choices they made in their lives. The trauma they face is not openly talked about although the situations are very rampant.

​

There are girls facing rejection by society more so since they were involved in early pregnancies. The community over time has evolved to admit them but there are still very many cases of refutation in our present age. In addition, some have been caught up in sexual behaviors that lead to prostitution or becoming concubines. In most cases, they have termed as home wreckers something which the community strongly abhors.

​

There are women who have endured living in squalid situations for such a long time that they have even given up to hope of any freedom. They indulge in activities that are constantly disapproved and are shameful. They do this as a means of survival.

​

On the other hand, there are survivors; there are courageous women out there who have made it through. They speak about their experiences openly, they encourage others and they are willing to be vulnerable and share their experiences so that another woman can make it and hold on to see the future differently and positively. They are showing their scars, sharing the pain they went through and revealing the painful experiences as a platform for another woman to step on and rise above

When in a state of hopelessness, the easier way out is the one that immediately knocks to you when the heat is rambling.

​

We would like to be the WAY OUT, we would like to be the hand they hold on to when the walls of hopelessness are caving in to swallow them.

We are focused on restoring the hearts of women to the Godly emotional place of peace, find their identity through Christ and get a firm foundation of self and their families where applicable

The patron wishes to thank all women who are courageously willing to share their life story and experience for the sake of another woman. We recognize how strong women are and how their input is key when pulled together to a positive direction.
